    This review is no way a reflection of the service provided by our sales person Jordon. Jordan was extremely professional throughout the experience and followed the sales playbook to the T. Jordan’s thorough explanation of the Traverse’s features was the main reason we ended up going with the Traverse vs a Chevrolet competitor. In addition to Jordan the rest of the sales staff was accommodating to our children and very friendly ensuring that we were being assisted at all times. Unfortunately this is where our experience turns negative. We had a negotiated deal for the purchase price, trade in value and an extended warranty included. When it came time to assess our trade in we were issued a very low trade in value which required Jordan to go speak to his manager 3 times before the manager came out when we were about to walk away. No reputable business would have attempted to lowball us on our trade in value after consistently saying how high the current market value for used vehicles is. In negotiating with the manager he agreed to our trade in valuation of 16K due to an anticipated 1.5k of required repairs bringing the value of the vehicle to 17.5K. Unity Chevrolet currently has this vehicle marked for 24k which in my opinion is well above market value but why would we be initially have offered 12k for a vehicle that the dealer values at 24k after repairs unless they were attempting to scam us. After settling on the trade in valuation we asked if the extended warranty would be included and he said it would be included at the dealers cost per previous conversation with the other sales manager. We had previously negotiated for the warranty to match Kia’s and had explained this and previously received confirmation that they would so their was no reason for us to have thought this would mean that the warranty would be priced at the dealers cost nor would any reasonable person have interpreted it in this manner from this conversation. Fast forward two days later we have an appointment to sign the paperwork and pickup the car at 3:30pm. When we arrive with our 3 children (all under 5) we were told that we would have to wait a bit so we ask if we can transfer belongings and car seats to expedite the process. It isn’t until almost 6pm that we finally meet with the finance department and things go south quick. When we meet with finance his first question is if we are open to looking at other rate options that could potentially save us money. Of course we would want to save money sure but 15 minutes later he comes up with a 6.59% rate vs the Chevrolet 1.9% rate program. Any decent finance person that does car loans on a daily basis would have known that it wasn’t in our best interest or should have run the numbers prior to us getting in the room to not waste more time. We have now been at the dealership over 2 hours with 3 little kids that we’re getting restless. Go forward a few minutes as we were finalizing the deal I had asked about the warranty as I didn’t see it on the write up the finance guy mentioned that he had to step out to review with the manager. After a couple minutes the finance guy comes back and tells myself that he has the tough job of notifying me that it is time to come back to reality and blamed the miss communication on the inexperienced sales person even though we did the final negotiating with the sales manager. Clearly Unity promotes their finance department to speak to their customers in this unprofessional manner. At no point did the sales manager come in to explain the situation or have the courtesy of speaking with us. Prior to getting in with finance while waiting to sign paperwork I had passed the sales manager twice while in the dealership and he never once said hello or thank you for your business meanwhile every member of the sales team was extremely welcoming and accommodating. It is very unprofessional for the sales manager to have forced the finance manager to do this communication for a deal he negotiated and then for the finance manger to have blamed the sales person for what was inadequate training on Unity Chevrolet’s part and a failure to communicate properly from the sales manager. At this point we have been at the dealership for 3 hours with 3 little kids and already have our car seats moved over to the new car. With our schedule we didn’t have any more time available to invest into car shopping and we’re forced into signing a deal that we didn’t agree to. It appeared that Unity’s sales tactic is to hold you there as long as possible to frustrate you to the point that you will sign anything when it should have literally been a 15 minute conversation and signing to pickup the vehicle. I posted a review on Google and have received zero follow up from Unity even though they have responded to a positive review that was posted at a later date than mine. Clearly Unity doesn’t value doing the right thing and treating their customers with respect which will most likely turn us away from the Chevrolet brand in the future.     drop off could of been better. seems their was only one writer at the time. my understanding they were all in a meeting. bad time for a meeting. but all in all a good experience
